There are more ways of bringing out a smile in a child than through the positive results of orthodontic treatment.
We’re entering the time of year where we help kids smile in other ways, and you can help, too! We invite you to join us in the effort by participating in our annual Toys For Tots drive to spread some cheer this holiday season.
As you fulfill the wish lists of the young ones in your life, feel free to pick up a gift for a less fortunate child in our community. Simply drop off your donations at our Park Avenue or Tribeca offices through Dec. 18. Gifts donated to Toys for Tots must be new and unwrapped.
“Participating in the annual Toys for Tots toy drive is one of the highlights of our year,” says Dr. Mark Bronsky, who offers orthodontic treatment ranging from Invisalign to conventional braces in NYC. “We are continually amazed by the generosity of our patients and their willingness to help those in our community who are less fortunate experience some joy this holiday season.”
Once our patients have dropped off their donated toys in the marked bins located in the reception areas of our two locations, Toys For Tots coordinators will organize the gifts according to age and gender, then distribute them to local families in need of a helping hand this time of year.
Toys for Tots also accepts monetary donations. You can donate online through the Toys for Tots website, or you can leave a check with us made payable to Toys for Tots.
Toys For Tots is a national, nonprofit charity that was established by the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 1947 for the purpose of giving toys to children whose families could not afford to purchase Christmas or Hanukkah gifts. Donations to this organization are tax deductible, and it has been honored as a top-rated charity. More than 97 percent of donations go to the organization’s mission of providing toys, books and other gifts to less fortunate children, according to the Toys for Tots website.
If you have any questions about our collaboration with this wonderful organization, feel free to give us a call. We wish you and your family lots of joy this holiday season!
